1926 Portland Homes Plan Book by Universal Plan Service

Craftsman detail like knee brackets and elaborated rafter ends had been largely replaced by the mid-20s even as the bungalow style continued to enjoy some popularity. The clean lines of this small cottage bungalow were common from 1910 to 1930 and became the default as styles shifted to more "modern" looks like the Romantic Revivals, Cape Cods, and Minimal Traditionals during the second half of the 1920s.
