This Colonial Revival cottage was a particularly popular style during the mid-1920s; versions of it are seen both house plan books and kit home catalogs. This one has a number of nice features including a circular floor plan and breakfast alcove. There is easy access to outside from the kitchen. Note the presence of the icebox on the landing to the stairs; the fridge was still a fantasy for most families. At over 1200 square feet, this was a larger than average home.
