Larger houses of two stories, like this plan, were often labeled "semi-bungalows." Bungalows, by most definitions at the time tended to be considered one to one-and-a-half stories. They had the large front porch, but were designed to accommodate larger families. Even so, this is not that large ... not more than 2000 sf. It has three bedrooms, a lovely entry and beamed ceilings in the living and dining rooms with very modern built-ins throughout.
