Compare No. 264B148 with 264B179 to see how different two Foursquares can be. Where 264B179 has more "artistic" Craftsman style, this home is more typical of the Colonial Revival with its classical columns and lapped siding. Add a hint of the Prairie School in the hipped roof and broad eaves and this becomes a 20th century eclectic classic.
