The Garrison Colonial Revival is a subtype of the popular Colonial Revival style. It was not commonly seen during the 1920s, but became a fairly common style during the 1930s. Later, during the 1950s and 60s, the facade is seen incorporated in split levels. The Garrison Colonial Revival is characterized by its overhanging second floor and the overhang is ornamented with acorn pendants at each corner.
