1935 Ladies Home Journal House Pattern Catalog
The European Provincial style house seen here is fairly large with 2 1/3 bathrooms, four bedrooms (one of which with a bath was allocated to the maid), and garage built under the house. A "loggia" is next to the dining room and would have been called a sun room during the less pretentious 20s. The plan with its breakfast nook and conventional room arrangement was typical of the preceding decade differing primarily in its Continental influences.
