This California bungalow may look small but actually packs a lot into just under 1200 sq. feet. It was designed with a number of features that are pretty darned cool like the pergola porch accessible through french doors off the breakfast, dining, and living rooms. Though just two bedrooms and one bath, the den with its fireplace was designed to accommodate a disappearing bed: By day there was a built-in seat and at night you could pull out a full-size bed. Pocket doors ensured a reasonable degree of privacy for guests. And as always, we are suckers for lots of casement windows.
