Modern bungalows began to lose much of the Craftsman detailing seen up to World War I. This plan retains the knee brackets and exposed rafters but the stucco siding and flat ornament on the porch columns is distinctly "modern." The three bedrooms and single bath upstairs were ample for a small family. Downstairs, an open floor plan provided easy access between rooms.
