In 1925, bungalow cottages were found in home magazines and the many plan catalogs offered by lumber dealers across the US. This house plan incorporates a number of bungalow features including the porch, open floor plan, and the ever-popular sun room as well as three bedrooms and full basement. One of the hallmarks commonly found on Bowes houseplans of this period is the shared landing between the kitchen and livingroom leading to the second floor staircase.
