1936 Armstrong Pink

This Armstrong kitchen ad from American Home magazine was designed to appeal to housewives with lots of work and little space to do it. This all-purpose kitchen is food prep, laundry, sewing room, and dinette. The play pen affords the opportunity to even keep an eye on Junior. Visually, there's a lot going on but the large fields of white minimize the distraction. We particularly like the pink and white polka dot wall paper.
