One of the most popular bungalows offered by Sears Roebuck was the beautiful Craftsman-style Vallonia. Introduced in about 1921, it was actively promoted until the company closed its home division in 1940. The clustered porch supports, wide porch, and forward gabled dormer with the elaborated rafter ends remained unchanged but for minor improvements. Like many Sears kits, it was available as a five-room home with unfinished attic, or as a fully finished four-bedroom, one bath home.
