Swiss chalet-style bungalows are characterized by widely projecting roofs of medium pitch and balconies and porches with pierced patterns between the vertical boards as seen in No. 661. The balconies project and are supported by ornate paired brackets. On the facade of this house, there is an inset dormer with an arch that "contributes materially to the Swiss appearance."
