Design No. 185 is best described by Wilson as "A substantial roomy house, on pure bungalow lines, and not expensive. The rooms are large, light, and airy, and it will prove an ideal home for a small family. Size about 40 feet square, and cost about $1,800. The buffet kitchen with sink and cupboards in the bay window is a taking feature."
Note that Wilson included the front porch in his size calculation. It's a good size home for its day (about 1300 sq. ft.) and has a typical floor plan with virtually no wasted space.
