1908 Western Home Builder — V. W. Voorhees of Seattle

Design No. 13 is a grand foursquare that combines classical and Craftsman details to create what would have been a modern home of the latest style in 1908. The large formal reception hall, convenient circular floor plan, butler's pantry, and beam-ceilinged dining room were a few of the gracious appointments on the main floor. A generous front porch wraps around the front and one side ... and as though that wasn't enough the second floor allowed access to the porch as well. A write-up appeared in the Seattle Times on this plan and its spectacular views of Lake Washington.
