The simplified forms begun in the 1920s continued through the 1930s. This compact little house has traditional and modern design elements. It's a good example of the emerging minimal traditional style of the Depression and Post WWII years before the Ranch took hold. The open floor plan borrows from its bungalow antecedents and is typical of many of the small, two-bedroom homes that were so prevalent at the time.
