Possibly one of the biggest criticisms one might level about this plan is that the living room could be considered dark. With the front porch wrapping the living room on two sides, the light would certainly be limited, but there are so many other pleasing aspects: there are three good sized bedrooms and a sleeping porch upstairs, a breakfast porch, a large kitchen/pantry/mud room configuration, and full basement. And one can't overlook how pleasant the wrapped porch would be during the summer.
