The Potomac
1930 Montgomery Ward
The Potomac was a popular cottage style during the 1920s. Almost all plan publishers offered the small, one-story clipped gable home with the distinctive classical portico with a curved underside. Most were symmetrical and had shingle or clapboard siding and six-over-one light windows.
