Stylistically, the Beach plan is a "modern American cottage" and would be at home at just about any coastal village. There are some things we like a lot ... the shingle siding and French windows and the second bedroom on the second floor. And there are some things we'd change: Then entry opens directly into the livingroom and the size and placement of windows would make it seem dark. By contrast, the dining room would be light and bright. Though not an ideal plan, it's a common 1920s style.
