This is the earliest version we've seen of this particular house plan which appeared originally in Ladies Home Journal in 1914. HLF's policy on reproducing other designer's work was laudably ethical; they made it a point to contact the designer, or in this case, Ladies Home Journal and request permissioin to print this tiny one-bedroom plan. Other versions of this were produced by Harris Brothers, Aladdin, and Lewis Manufacturing to name a few. In each case, the interior layout is different, but the exterior is virtually identical.
