1918 Presto-up Sectional Homes
To quote the brochure for the Presto-up sectional home shown below, it should "be erected above the foundation, ready to move into, by two men of reasonable intelligence who can read numbers and follow simple directions, in approximately five days." It's a small house, but apart from the most basic bathroom accommodation, it doesn't differ from many of the kit houses of the post-WWI period. In fact, if desired the bathroom could easily be used as a pantry if the bathroom is not wanted. Imagine that!
