The Amherst

The Amherst is one of eight Cape Cod style homes shown in the 1935 catalog. Of the styles popular during the 1930s, this small Colonial was compelling for many home builders. It was small, affordable, pretty, and comfortably traditional. They were also functional considering their relatively small footprint.
