The Allen
1940 Pre-WWII Homes by Gordon Van Tine Co.
Many of the Gordon Van Tine homes were classics when they were offered in 1935. The Allen is a Foursquare but has some interesting features. The entry opens directly into the livingroom, which was a standard bungalow feature. The stairway to the second floor is located at the rear of the house and separated from the living room, which is unusual. The three bedrooms and bath take up the second floor.
