Design 12032

c. 1921 American Homes Beautiful by C. L. Bowes Co.

Traditional, but tiny, cottages were extremely popular during the 1920s for their affordability, but they were also incredibly cute. This design was one that appears in almost every plan book of the decade in one form or another. The plan is also relatively common: the living room runs from front to rear with the dining and kitchen on one side and private spaces on the other. There is virtually no wasted space in its 1000 sf. It has a Jack and Jill bathroom and Bowes' signature kitchen/basement access.
