Weatherbest Stained Shingles
English Cottage style homes were extremely popular during the mid-1920s through the 1930s. Below is a beautiful house with a classic, but simple scheme that was shown in a 1928 House Beautiful ad by Weatherbest for its stained shingles. From roof to trim:
- Dark Charcoal (Roof)
- Warm Gray Stain (Shingles)
- Cream (Doors, sash, and trim)
- Taupe (Panels in trim)
- Black (Porch rail)
